The Country Classic Cloggers have been together for over fifteen years. We originated from the legendary Georgia Piney Wood Cloggers directed by Don and Sylvia Rakestraw. Sheila Bellamy instructed under them and eventually broke off and made her own team...Country Classic. She eventually sold the team to Becky Duchemin. Becky is still holding strong today and will be clogging to her grave. Check out this old picture!! This is the first picture of the Country Classic Elementary and Juniors!!! Becky is the director and owner of the team. She has had many activities in her life and still manages to clog. She works for Jim Boyle in Powder Springs. She had an interior decorating business, she sews for her team and Special Edition and she keeps up with her children's activities and lifes. Her 11 year old son clogs with the elementary team and her daughter clogs with the seniors. Becky mainly instructs the elementary and the adult teams. Becky was recently elected president of the Georgia Clogging Leader's Association. Look for the link!
Lisa 
Lisa directs and choreographs for the senior, junior, and pee wee teams. She has clogged for 21 years and just won't quit. She loves working with the pee wees and watching them grow and become wonderful cloggers. Some of her juniors and seniors were her first set of pee wees! Her junior and senior teams are spectacular and wonderful to work with. She also will be the secretary again for the President of GCLA. She also dances with Special Edition under the direction of Pat Nelson. She loves dancing with the adult team, it gives her a place to relax with her clogging. Check out Special Edition's web site. Jeannie Jeannie works for Bank of America. Jeannie assists Becky in everything!!! You could call her Becky's brains. If Becky forgets, Jeannie remembers. Jeannie teaches in the adult class. She also has her own team, the Nation Senior Steppers. She has recently been elected as a new officer of GCLA, she is our new treasurer!!! |
